Privacy Policy
ShelfRush (“ShelfRush,” “we,” “us”) is a shelf-stocking puzzle game for iOS. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
ShelfRush does not require an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, exact location, or Apple ID. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to type in.
We use Unity Gaming Services Analytics to understand how the game is actually played - whether people start playing, how far they get, which levels cause the most drop-off, and whether people come back in a later session. This is anonymous product analytics, not advertising: ShelfRush has no ads and no third-party advertising SDK of any kind.
Specifically, the analytics service collects:
- An anonymous installation ID, generated on your device and not tied to your name or any account.
- A device identifier(your device’s vendor ID on iOS, not Apple’s advertising identifier - we don’t use that at all).
- Coarse, country-level location, derived from IP address - never precise/GPS location.
- Gameplay events: things like starting a level, completing or failing one, using a booster, or retrying - each tagged with the level number and basic numbers like elapsed time or score. No personal content is ever attached to these.
- Basic device/performance diagnostics, standard for any mobile analytics SDK.
What we don’t do
- No ads, and no third-party advertising or attribution SDKs.
- No Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) collection.
- No in-app purchases in this version of the game.
- No selling or renting of any data to anyone.
- No linking analytics data to your real-world identity - we simply don’t collect one to link it to.
Why we collect it
Purely to understand and improve the game itself - which levels are too hard, whether boosters get used, whether the difficulty curve holds up. It is not used to build an advertising profile, because we don’t have one.
Third parties
Gameplay analytics is processed by Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services). No other third-party service receives data from ShelfRush.
Children’s privacy
ShelfRush is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
